An ancient pig-like demon is set upon a group of college students by a mysterious being called The Dealer. Once they make a deal, and their wishes come true, the beast will take the students to his slaughterhouse in hell. Another mysterious being called The Messenger tries warning them, but it is too late, as each of the victims will have to face the beast Pigster。本剧围绕现代女性楚慈与穿越而来的诗圣杜甫展开了一段如梦如幻的旅程。二人因一次落水意外绑定命搭子的身份，楚慈必须等杜甫重回古代才能重获自由。游成都、回草堂、访武侯祠、上峨眉......跟着诗圣的旅途中，楚慈与杜甫友情渐深，两人各自对社会与生活的理解和看法也在悄然发生着改变。做搭子的“拼”命循环里，楚慈重拾了人生方向，杜甫亦解开心结，寻找到了心中的天地和大道。。
