Ok, folks, this is my last Ishii upload. Totsugeki! Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。In order to save their rehab facility, four cross-addicted anonymous alcoholics undertake a very risky task to smuggle two tankers of spirit across Poland. For their own safety, they kidnap their therapist for the trip. However, the journey turns out to be more dangerous than they expected. After them – or rather the illegal alcohol they are transporting – is a Customs Officer,...。Helvi, an adventurous pixie, won’t let anything stand in the way of exploring the human world. In so doing, she meets unknown pixies who seem really cool. To her family’s annoyance, she even joins the new pixies. When Inspector Lanski gets on their trail and is in danger of proving the pixies’ existence once and for all, they have to think of a plan. All the pixies have to pull...。
