同在一所大学念书的扎克（格莱格·赛普斯 Greg Cipes 饰）、凯特（马格·哈士曼 Margo Harshman 饰）、瑞夫（阿蒂·巴克斯特 Artie Baxter 饰）、维姬（凯瑞·芬克利 Carrie Finklea 饰）、艾丝莉（凯莉·维茨 Kelly Vitz 饰）相约前往某个山间的无人区度假，顺便淘淘金子大做发财梦。他们偶然迷路，在问路时听说了一个可怕的故事。据说曾经有一对15岁的双胞胎随同父母来到路人区玩耍，最终却引发恐怖的血腥谋杀。故事虽然可怕，但青年男女无所畏惧，执意前往无人区。 明媚的阳光和舒适的泉水山林让他们暂时忘掉了那个可怕的故事，但是随着夜幕降临，噩梦也如期而至，血腥杀手持刀前来……。在小镇上，一个年轻人游手好闲无所事事，于是他决定去纽约碰碰运气。影片讲述了1925年发生在美国西部牛仔的故事，风格搞笑幽默。 A young man who doesn't find a job in his small hometown, tries his luck in New York, but is overwelmed by the life of the city, so decides to try his luck somewhere else after a only a few minutes in New York. He falls off a train near a ranch, where he tries his luck as a cowbowy, being in his own way very sucessful. But he shows what he can do when the farm has to bring a 100 head of cattle to the slaughterhouses of Los Angeles to avoid going bankrupt, against the will of his neighbour who wants a better price. After a shoot-out with the neighbour's men he's the only person on a Los Angeles bound train with 1000 cows....。小女孩菈奇闯进森林寻找父母，却遇到了魔神仔路达。于是随着魔神仔进入了森林，展开了一段奇幻的寻亲之旅。菈奇和路达在探索的途中，遇到了许多潜藏在森林中的妖怪，有山臊、黑狗精、油蹄猫、地牛⋯⋯等，也经历了许多危机并互相帮忙，终于成为了互相信任的朋友。但是到了森林的深处，菈奇才发现魔神仔路达竟然只是为了抓交替？她该选择相信朋友吗？她又能如愿找到父母吗？尽管面临了许多危机逆境，她仍从中体验了关于信任与友情的珍贵。。
