该剧以改革开放和新农村建设、精准扶贫工作为主线，讲述了下派第一书记汤亮与企业家汤小君回到家乡，怀着无限热爱，与村主任范星火携手让家乡脱贫致富奔小康的故事。故事围绕炸掉污染严重的水泥厂、扶贫、村主任改选、修路、征地拆迁和回迁、联营养殖和种植、发展旅游和占地，建新村规划、工程招标等大事件，发生了各种误会、矛盾、明争暗斗。。小村姑九凤幼年丧母，与颓丧父亲守破客栈，因贫穷见钱眼开。遇猫族王储塔塔后命运转变，凭技艺与巧思将“内个村”变为酿酒盛地与旅游佳处。相处间塔塔的仁爱感染九凤，九凤的性情也影响塔塔，二人感情起伏，有儿女情长与家国情怀，最终陷入两难。。In the tenth series, in the second episode ("The Son'll Come Out") Michael comes out as gay to his parents, first to his father after coming home drunk then later to his mother. He then tells them that he has been in a relationship with a guy for some time, a 25 year old solicitor called Scott Marsh, who later moves into the Harper residence, though he is later seen in gay club...。
