公元1582年(万历十年)夏天的北京，怪事与奇案叠起。先是大明内库储银不翼而飞，从各地府县运来的大宗税银突然不知去向，国家铸银局的熔银大炉也因无银可铸而被迫停炉；接着便是被送入诏狱的两个江洋大盗神秘越狱，城外一个以做棺材为业的村子在一夜之间被杀戮一空；更可怕的是，一股来路不明的号称“江洋八子”的犯罪集团突然现身大街小巷和王公府邸……。神城麻郁从小在孤儿院长大，除了一张年代久远的照片外，他对自己的过去一无所知。一次偶然中，他在电视上看到了和自己手中照片上一模一样的房子，为了弄清楚自己的过去，他搬到了那幢房子里，并进入当地的高中就读。某天上学途中，麻郁遇见了正要被人非礼的女孩宫藤深衣奈，他意外的发现，自己和宫藤深衣奈有着相同颜色的眼眸。让麻郁没有想到的是，当晚，深衣奈竟然出现在了自己家的门口，并拿出了和麻郁一模一样的照片，声称自己饰麻郁的双胞胎妹妹。就这样，麻郁开始了和深衣奈的同居生活，随着时间的推移，两人之间的关系逐渐亲密起来。。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
