李翰祥執導的《佛跳牆》共有四個單元，首個故事是描述一對母子因施予濟公一碗豆漿而逃過喪命之危；其二則說濟公幫助賣菜漢，逃離高利貸者的滋擾；其三則寫濟公以櫻桃化夜明珠，將大盜教訓一頓；最末一則是描寫濟公以巧計捉弄胡作非為的相爺父子。李翰祥借濟公的善行，針貶權貴惡霸的種種惡行，為平民大眾吐一口烏氣。。萧佳的女儿不幸在灾难中被埋于钢筋墙下，而其夫易峙竟选择救援白月光的孩子。易峙长期将白月光母女置于自家之前，虽坚称与之清白，却不顾家庭，偏袒她们。女儿死后萧佳心碎至极，决意报复所有对她们母女造成伤害的人。。John Ellman (Boris Karloff) has been framed for murder by a gang of racketeers.
