奇门派和五毒派为江湖两大门派。两大门派为了“皇家龙种花落谁家”而各施其法，误打误撞地揭发了企图让皇帝（陈浩民饰）得不到子嗣而待其驾崩后坐上皇位的皇叔的阴谋。皇叔派出潜伏在皇后（胡然）身边的五毒派弟子秀明（甄淇饰）试图毒害皇嗣，而秀明却阴险狡猾另有企图，对皇叔并不忠心，趁机为己谋私利。反而奇门派的多美（邱意浓饰），为人善良，大大咧咧，总是乐从天降，化险为夷，更对权势亳不留恋，倾心于英俊勇猛的萌笨直男侍卫太阳（何浩文饰），二人合力化解皇叔之乱，不恋名利，欢天喜地浪迹天涯。。在从山区前往清迈的长途车程中，Phasut上尉与妻子Namping遭遇翻车事故双双殒命，他们六岁的儿子Tawan因当天未同行而幸免于难。Namping的兄长、咖啡园园主Khunkhao闻讯悲痛不已，迅速操办了葬礼。葬礼上，Phasut的妹妹Thofah代表祖父前来，欲将Tawan带回曼谷，但Khunkhao无法接受让孩子跟随素未谋面的祖父和姑姑生活，而Thofah却决心不惜一切代价完成任务……。Walter Nebicher is the police department's resident computer expert, although his immediate superior gives no respect as to his contribution to the force.
